Minnesota Farmstead™ CHEESES & MEATS.

 Minnesota Farmstead™ cheeses are made from raw milk produced on our farm in beautiful Carlton County and aged a minimum of 60 days.  Having received numerous awards for the high quality of our milk, our commitment to quality carries over to the cheese-making process.  Our handcrafted, raw milk cheeses are made with milk, natural animal rennet and celtic sea salt; they contain no coloring, preservatives, or GMO rennet.    After calving in April, the cows are milked spring through fall moving the cows to fresh green pastures daily. Our cows are 100% grass-fed, we do not feed any grain. This provides optimum health for the cows, enhances the natural resources of our land, and most importantly, supplies highly nutritious, flavorful milk for the making of our cheeses. There are no hormones, antibiotics, or rBGH used in our herds and we do not spread fertilizers or chemicals of any kind on our pastures.
